Ocala Symphony Choir

 

The Ocala Symphony Orchestra is proud to present the next season of the Symphony Chorus, with our annual production of Handel's Messiah and our spring concert in March entitled Celestial Reflections. 

 

Leading the chorus is Maestro Joshua L. Mazur, who has led the chorus since 2017. From Gainesville, Florida Mr. Mazur is Director of Music Ministry at Abiding Savior Lutheran Church, Director of Choirs and Theater at Bradford High School, and the Artistic Director of Capella Nova, Gainesville. 

 

Membership in the Symphony Chorus is open to enthusiastic singers, ages 18 and above, who read music and can commit to regular rehearsals, by audition. Dues are $50 for the season. Scholarships are available for those who qualify.

Performance dates include:

  • Handel's Messiah and More! on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 3 p.m.
  • Celestial Reflections on Saturday, March 7 at 3 p.m.

 

All concerts will be held at the Reilly Arts Center.
