Puffs

Closing out 2021 is the magical play “Puffs, or Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic and Magic” by Matt Cox. For seven years, a certain boy wizard went to a certain Wizard School and conquered evil. This, however, is not his story. This story is about some other students–the Puffs–who just happened to be enrolled in that school, too. This inventive play takes a new look at a familiar adventure from the perspective of a group of well-meaning, loyal, lovable outsiders with a thing for badgers. Overflowing with heart, charm, and laughter every minute, this epic journey reimagines what a boy wizard hero can be.
