The City of Ocala invites you to celebrate the grand opening of the Ocala Skate Park Expansion with a full day of skateboarding, music, art, and community fun—culminating in a special evening film screening.

Join us for an unforgettable day featuring:
· Skateboarding legend Rodney Mullen – Ribbon-cutting ceremony & meet-and-greet
· Live music, food trucks, trick competitions, prizes & giveaways
· Skate Deck Design & Live Painting Project showcasing local artists
This free, family-friendly event celebrates the newly expanded Ocala Skate Park, designed to accommodate skaters of all levels with enhanced street and bowl features.
Evening Event: Free Film Screening at Marion Theatre
Saturday, March 28: 6 – 9 p.m., Marion Theatre – 50 S. Magnolia Ave., Ocala, FL
After the grand opening festivities, head downtown for a special screening of Bones Brigade: An Autobiography—the acclaimed documentary chronicling the rise of the legendary Bones Brigade skateboarding team and its lasting impact on the sport.
The evening kicks off with an exclusive Q&A session with Rodney Mullen from 6:30 – 7 p.m., followed by the film screening.
Admission is FREE, but registration is required. Seating is limited and first come, first served. A ticket is required for entry.
