Development Operations Manager
The Ocala Symphony Orchestra is seeking a meticulous, deadline-reliable, systems-minded professional to become our Development Operations Manager. Ocala Symphony Orchestra, Inc. operates the Ocala Symphony Orchestra, the Reilly Arts Center, the Marion Theatre, and the Community Music Conservatory. From our home in downtown Ocala’s Tuscawilla Park, our venues host national, regional, and local performing organizations and events averaging over 150 events per year.
The Development Operations Manager is the data and process hub of our development department — the keeper of our donor database, the producer of the reports our whole team runs on, and the reason every gift is entered accurately and every donor is thanked promptly. This part-time position (~32 hours/week, $26–$29/hour, designed to grow toward full-time) is a great fit for detail-loving professionals from bookkeeping, database administration, or operations backgrounds — no fundraising experience required, and paid PatronManager (CRM) certification is provided in your first month.
Team members earn generous and flexible paid time off, a SIMPLE IRA with 3% company match, Short Term Disability insurance, and Direct Primary Care. For those interested in joining our team, please send a resume and cover letter to apply@ocalasymphony.com with the subject line “Development Operations Manager.” In your cover letter, tell us about a database, record system, or process you personally kept accurate — and how you knew when it wasn’t.
