Cowboy Bebop LIVE is a complete multimedia experience highlighting the story of critically acclaimed anime, COWBOY BEBOP, on the big screen accompanied by live music from the soundtrack performed by the Bebop Bounty Big Band.

This 14-piece jazz ensemble features world-class musicians with members from the world famous Glenn Miller Orchestra, the Jazz Orchestra at Dr. Phillips Center, and the Walt Disney Company. This show is a completely one-of-a-kind production specifically designed to deliver an experience anime fans have never had before. Corey Paul – Bandleader/Lead Trombone
Accomplished trombonist, musical scribe, and bandleader Corey Paul grew up listening to the music of Cowboy Bebop. After graduating from the University of Central Florida and touring the world as a professional musician, Corey maintained his passion for the sounds and story of the critically acclaimed anime. He transcribed the music from the show, then assembled a big band of Florida’s finest professionals to perform the challenging repertoire. The Bebop Bounty Big Band was formed and Cowboy Bebop LIVE became an instant hit among both anime and jazz fans alike.

Kyle Schroeder – Saxophone
Kyle Schroeder is a 24-year-old rising star in the world of saxophone and contemporary jazz. Coming off the release of his debut solo album “Get With It” this past June, Kyle is in high demand. Whether it’s live shows or time in the studio, Kyle strives to share his love of music with fans around the world. His electric energy and virtuosic playing makes him the perfect fit for Cowboy Bebop LIVE!

Shawn Villanueva – Trumpet
Another young gun of the band, Shawn Villanueva is the featured trumpet soloist for Cowboy Bebop LIVE! At the age of 17, Shawn was hand-selected by former President Barack Obama to perform for the President’s Inauguration. During his years at Osceola County School for the Arts and Florida State University, Shawn received numerous accolades for his playing allowing him the opportunity to perform for Wynton Marsalis, Jon Faddis, Tito Puente Jr., and more. Now, at age 26, Shawn teaches and performs full-time as one of the most accomplished young jazz musicians of his time.

Brian Radock – Auxiliary Percussion
Brian Radock is a multifaceted drum/percussionist from New York City with more than 20 years of experience. Brian has performed as principal percussionist at Lincoln Center, Carnegie Hall, Radio City Music Hall with symphony orchestras, and with Tony and Academy award winners. Earlier this year, Brian joined Jennifer Hudson and her band as their first ever live percussionist, accompanied by the Royal Philharmonic.

Brandon Miller – Electric/Upright Bass
Brandon Kyle Miller is a bassist, composer, recording artist, and educator from Orlando, Florida. He performs and tours regularly with Joey Fatone’s Fat Tones band, ANSWERS and Golden Flower (both of which he is a co-leader and composer), and many other freelance works. Recently, he music directed the 50th anniversary concert of the album “The Way (First Book of Experiences)” by Bobby Callender at the Timucua Arts Foundation. He has been in over 40 musicals in Central Florida, the 2nd National Broadway Tour of Tootsie the Musical, as well as the workshop for the new musical Grace by Nolan Williams Jr. Brandon proudly uses GHS Strings.

Jon Oxford – Guitar
Jon Oxford is a Florida native with decades of experience as a performer, composer, and educator. After his time with the Army Band (US Army Japan Band, NATO Jazz Orchestra), he earned his degrees in jazz performance and composition from the University of Central Florida (BM), and University of South Florida (MM). He performs steadily with a variety of artists around Central Florida, and is a regular call for reading and Broadway shows across the state. In addition to his regular performance schedule, Jon teaches courses in jazz and directs the jazz band at Stetson University; as well as guitar, and audio recording at Eastern Florida State College. When not playing music, Jon enjoys video games, baking bread, reading, and all things French.
