Forrest Roberson

Forrest Roberson is a guitar instructor and composer in Ocala, FL. He has over four years of experience, in which he taught a large roster of students spanning every age and skill level.

Forrest holds a degree in Music Composition for Film, TV, and Video Games from Berklee College of Music, where he studied various guitar techniques alongside composition and theory. He brings that same background to each lesson, curating them to meet each student’s desired genre, learning needs, and guitar goals. Rather than teaching memorization, Forrest uses technique and theory to guide students to self-evaluate and learn from their mistakes, intrinsically motivating students to practice and help them meet their goals. His students speak highly of his patience and kindness, noting that they never feel rushed in the learning process.

Outside the studio, Forrest composes and produces original music for film, TV, and video games. During his time as a composer, he has scored for many independent games, such as “The Specimen” and “Reflux”, as well as the independent film The Talisman, which earned a Best Original Score nomination at the IndieX Film Festival.
