You’re Invited to NOMA Night!

Join us to take a new look at an old tale as we explore the story of “Little Red Riding Hood” and enjoy the film “Into the Woods.”

NOMA Gallery is proud to welcome Jessica McCune and Grace Netanya, international award-winning mixed media artist and illustrator, to the historic stage of the Marion Theatre for an exciting discussion about fairytales, femininity, and monsters. Together, Jessica and Grace will explore the origins of the fable as we know it and shed light on how Grace has used a beloved bedtime classic – and the power of portraiture – to animate one of her favorite artistic themes: the transformation of victims into heroes. The evening begins with cocktails and art in the lobby at 5:30 PM, followed by the pre-film talk with Jessica McCune and Q&A with Grace Netanya at 6:15 PM and then afterwards at 7 PM we will enjoy viewing the award-winning musical, “Into the Woods.”

Craft cocktails by the amazing Adam Volpe will be available for purchase.

Admission to the talk and the movie are a gift from NOMA Gallery. Please RSVP by reserving a ticket.
